Dr Hai Thanh Nguyen is currently a Research Officer at the Crawford School of Public Policy, The Australian National University (ANU), and a Research Coordinator in the Department of Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. Prior to joining ANU, she worked at the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) in Vietnam, where she contributed to research and policy advice on economic reform, trade, investment, and labour market development. Throughout her career, she has consulted for leading international organisations, including the World Bank and the International Labour Organisation (ILO). Her research spans international trade, labour markets, foreign direct investment, and the social and environmental dimensions of economic development.
